1 | Initial Consultation & Project Brief
We begin with an on-site consultation, allowing us to develop a clear understanding of the property, the client’s objectives and the overall scope of works.
During this visit, we review the existing conditions, take any necessary photographs, and discuss budget parameters, programme expectations and levels of involvement.
Early advice is provided on feasibility, constraints and opportunities, ensuring that the project is approached with clarity and a well-informed strategy from the outset.
2 | Site Visit & Measured Survey
A detailed site visit is undertaken to assess existing conditions and any physical or logistical constraints that may influence the project.
Where required, we coordinate measured surveys and gather relevant technical information to support accurate design development.
This stage also allows for the early identification of structural, services and access considerations, alongside the presentation of initial samples, mood boards and concept ideas to establish the overall design direction.
3 | Design Development & Cost Planning
Design development focuses on spatial planning and layout optimisation, supported by coordinated design information to assist the preparation of technical drawings and enable accurate cost planning.
During this stage, we work closely with appointed contractors and relevant third parties, including building management teams, architects and specialist consultants, to ensure the design is fully informed, coordinated and buildable.
A comprehensive cost plan is developed in parallel with the design, maintaining clarity, control and alignment throughout the process.
4 | Procurement & Programme Coordination
Where required, we provide support during the procurement process, assisting with design clarification, programme advice and responding to contractor queries, ensuring the approved design is accurately interpreted, appropriately programmed and priced in line with the agreed scope.
5 | Design Coordination Through Delivery
Throughout construction, we remain available to review design-related matters, respond to contractor design queries and provide clarification where required, helping to ensure the approved scheme is implemented as intended and design quality is upheld.
6 | Completion and Aftercare
At project completion, we remain available to respond to design-related queries and provide guidance on the care, use and ongoing refinement of the completed interiors, ensuring the design continues to perform as intended beyond handover.
Is this service for one room or a whole house?
Our service works for both. Some clients start with a single room, while others redesign their entire home.
Whether it’s a bedroom refresh or a full luxury interior design project, we tailor our service requirements around you.
How long does it take?
This depends on the scope of your project. For most interior design projects, we can provide a timescale indication during your initial consultation.
More complex schemes involving structural or building works may require additional time to assess accurately before confirming final timescales.
Do you work with builders and trades?
For refurbishment and interior projects, we collaborate closely with appointed builders and specialist trades, offering ongoing design guidance and clarification to support accurate interpretation of the approved scheme.
Where structural or major building works are involved, we work alongside the wider consultant team to ensure the design is carefully integrated and delivered with continuity from concept through to completion.
I haven't used an interior designer before - how does it work?
We take a warm, highly client-focused approach to every project.
An initial consultation is simply a relaxed conversation about your ideas, goals, and space - giving us both the chance to explore your vision and see if we’re the right fit for you.
What if I don't like the proposed designs?
We actively listen to your feedback and work collaboratively with you, refining every detail to ensure the final design aligns perfectly with your vision and leaves you completely confident in the outcome.
Can I include my existing furniture?
Absolutely. This can be discussed during your initial consultation.
We’re very happy to incorporate existing furniture into your design, provided it complements your vision and the overall scheme - ensuring the final result feels cohesive, considered, and truly yours.
Do you only work on high-budget projects?
Not at all. We regularly work on projects ranging from a single room refresh to full home redesigns.
Whatever the scale, we help you make the most of your budget - guiding you through the design process to achieve the best possible result without unnecessary spend.
Do you travel abroad for projects?
Yes. While much of our work is based in London, Buckinghamshire and the UK, we also undertake selected international projects.

Will you produce technical drawings for contractors?
We provide coordinated design information and specifications to support the preparation of technical drawings by appointed contractors and consultants, ensuring the design is accurately interpreted and priced.
Who manages the construction works on a design only project?
Construction is managed by the appointed contractor or project manager. Our role remains focused on design coordination and design support, rather than site management.
Is a design-only service more cost-effective?
Design-only services often provide strong value by reducing design changes during construction, enabling accurate pricing and helping clients make informed decisions before works begin.
